I heard this song the other day. Neither the song or the movie it headlined would make my list but it made me think about it. (The list that is.) Favourite things come and go, so I plan to add to this list as I recall, and I would appreciate some help in this department. ![]()

Patti…Thanks for prompting me to reflect…..My list would of been a whole lot different 50 years ago. Come to think of it, ever changing with the years. At this ripe age I tend to migrate to the simpler things for sure. And it’s not settling. It’s enjoying things from a a different perspective. Is it that my ‘5 senses’ are getting keener?
It’s for sure that life is just great from this perspective.
fresh bread
morning coffee
sunrise
sunset
campfire
tea with lemon
laughter
spring
first snow fall
music
my computer
flying
boating
outdoors
indoors
wood

late nights

Thanks to Miki, Kassia and Dennis for adding to the list~
It’s interesting that it seems to be a list for all of us and I sure hope there’s more to come. I too love ALL of the above…
It makes me wonder “what the heck do we ever have to complain about?”
Dennis: Re: perspective. “Too soon old, too late smart”. (That’s a motto that hung in our home as I grew up.) Of course I didn’t “get it” until I grew old…ha ha
